Nicolas works mainly in the mechanical field, in particular drafting and examining patent applications, directly with the National Institute of Intellectual Property and the European Patent Office, as well as in other countries through the network of corresponding local Lavoix offices.

He works particularly in the following fields: automotive, aeronautics, railways, agricultural machinery, energy production (nuclear, wind, photovoltaic, concentrated solar power, fuel cells, methanization, biomass torrefaction), metallurgy, naval, drones and consumer goods.

He is also involved in the filing of oppositions to the granting of competitors’ patents, in particular before the European Patent Office, for assistance in court litigation and for audits of patent portfolios.

He is a member of theAPEB (Association of European Patent Practitioners).
